Hospitality Management
QRC delivers the Diploma of Hospitality Management in association with the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) in Australia and César Ritz Colleges in Switzerland. This is an internationally recognised and respected hotel management qualification that blends practical training with management theory. The diploma includes up to nine months paid work experience. Students can choose one elective in either: International Day Spa Management, International Wine Tourism and Cellar Door Management, Event Management or Resort Management.
Adventure Tourism Management
The Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management blends business management and leadership skills with practical work experience and has a special emphasis on ecotourism. Graduates can continue onto the Bachelor of Tourism Management at Thompson Rivers University (TRU), Canada’s leading specialist in adventure tourism education and training. It also includes up to nine months paid industry training with New Zealand's leading adventure tourism operators.
Uniquely Kiwi Leadership Development
QRCs Uniquely Kiwi Leadership Development programme is a 4 week blend of classroom workshops and outdoor adventure for leadership development and career planning.
English Language Courses
- General English with an English for Tourism Elective (full and part-time options available)
- English for Executives
- Spirit of Queenstown Orientation and Internship – minimum 12 week work placement starting with a 3-5 day Queenstown Orientation. Placements are in all areas of the local tourism and hospitality industries.
