Study Abroad Program
The Nudgee International College Study Abroad Program offers students an excellent opportunity to experience Australian education and culture and improve their English skills by attending high school (Years 8-11) in Australia and integrating with local students for a period of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year.
Students enrolled in the Study Abroad Program may attend one of the following private schools in Brisbane:
- St Joseph’s Nudgee College (boys only)
- Corpus Christi College (girls only)
- St James College (co-ed)
Accommodation
Homestay
Nudgee International College’s homestay department is dedicated to ensuring that all students have a safe and enjoyable homestay experience. Students are placed with homestay families located within accessible distance to the college. All families undergo a strict security check prior to becoming an official homestay provider for NIC; they are also visited on a regular basis to ensure that high quality standards are maintained.
Homestay Accommodation includes:
Three meals a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner
Weekly laundry service
Emergency assistance and counseling available
Boarding
NIC also offers boarding accommodation for boys who will be attending St Joseph’s Nudgee College upon completion of ELICOS. Experienced boarding staff ensures students experience a secure, warm and friendly atmosphere. Boarding also provides students with three meals a day and laundry service.
