Our Courses

Let us introduce you to the industry and equip you with the tools and knowledge necessary to become a professional screen actor or presenter. Acting is doing, therefore all courses are practical based. Students are constantly performing to camera, which is one of best learning tools for an actor. International Recognition

The Academy has positioned itself to become internationally recognized as the place to train if you want to be an actor in film or television. With their national and international connections this process is now underway, so stay tuned for the exciting events coming up at The Academy.

Live Studio Setting

The students train at our studios in Gaven but are also taken to a live studio setting, where they gain hands on experience as an actor or Presenter in the industry. The Academy also encourages its students to work by introducing them to students studying the other side of the camera, giving students at ASP the opportunity to 'star' in short films

International Students

The Academy is CRICOS registered which means the Academy is now able to accept international students who wish to come to Australia to study for their Diploma in Screen Performance full-time. The Academy is accepting overseas students into their mid-year intake for the Diploma of Screen Performance NOW!!!.

AusStudy Approved

Australian resident students enrolled in the full-time Diploma of Screen Performance are able to apply for Austudy.

More than an Academy

Jane Rowland is not only the Academy's Director but is also a Movie Producer, having made 2 feature films so far; "Demons In My Head" and "To Become One". 95% of the cast from "To Become One" were ASP students.
