The make-up technicians (tmt) school of make-up is a leading school for professional make-up training in film, television, fashion, photographic, theatre, and special effects in the Asia Pacific region. Since 1985 the school has delivered over 1000 world-class graduates in professional make-up artistry - through both specialist industry knowledge and practical technical training.

Our Location

The Make-up Technicians, School of Make-up is centrally located at Bondi Junction, a 2-minute walk from the train and bus station. The college is situated a 5 minute bus ride from the world famous Bondi Beach.

Students travelling from a distance can commute by train to Central, Martin Place or Town Hall and connect with the eastern suburbs rail line to Bondi Junction. This train runs every five minutes; the trip itself also takes five minutes.

Facilities & Equipment

Our Facilities have been recently upgraded to include brand new, fully equipped classrooms, a photo studio, a student kitchen and lounge, a make-up shop, and up-to-date equipment.

Classrooms
Our classrooms are designed with individual work stations, lighted mirrors, practice heads, lighting and lighting gels. In addition, each classroom is fully equipped with audio visual equipment.

Make-up and equipment
A professional make-up kit, extensively stocked is included in the cost of the Certificate IV in Make-up course. In addition we have an extensive range of alternative makeup products for student use in class, as well as equipment such as hair dryers and curlers, and straighteners.

Reference library
The Make-up Technicians has a library comprised of relevant and current make-up artistry reference books, magazines, and DVDs, that are available for students to use throughout the course and anytime after course completion.

Entry Requirements

International Students are required to have sufficient competency in written and spoken English. Overseas Students must be in possession of a Student Visa for the duration of their studies at the college.

The Make-up Technicians is a registered training organization (RTO), and is certified through the NSW Vocational Educational Training and Accreditation Board (VETAB) to offer and assess the Certificate IV in Make-up and the Diploma in Make-up. We have worked closely with VETAB to create courses that meet the highest standards faced in the Make-up Industry.
