Beauty Therapist, also known as a beautician, an aesthetician or a cosmetologist, is qualified to carry out a wide range of treatments to the client's face and body. All forms of Beauty Therapy treatments promote clients well-being and enhance their overall appearance. All Therapists must be knowledgeable, tactful, caring, and have a well-groomed appearance; especially their hands need to be sensitive and supple. As Beauty Therapists work extensively on the human body, they are required to undergo comprehensive studies in many discipline; Anatomy and Physiology, Bacteriology, Cosmetic Chemistry, Skin Disorders and Nutrition.

Because Beauty Therapy is a caring profession the vast majority of the Beauty therapists are women and hence students attending our College are too predominantly females.
