Study Tour Programs

At Brisbane North Institute of TAFE we combine study, fun and a true Australian lifestyle experience through our study tour programs.

Our study tour programs allow you to learn English, while experiencing Australian life and culture and visiting some of Australia's best tourism and leisure attractions. We tailor our study tour programs to participants' specific needs and interests; we offer holiday study tour programs which include English classes, leisure and cultural activities, while our technical study tours focus on specialised study programs combined with English classes.

Leisure activities include visits to the Gold Coast (including Movie World and Dreamworld), Australia Zoo and tourist attractions within Brisbane.

Direct Entry Pathways to University

Brisbane North Institute of TAFE has established direct entry pathways with top Queensland Universities, including Queensland University of Technology, Griffith University, Central Queensland University and University of Queensland.

Graduates of many of our Diploma programs are able to gain direct entry with up to 1.5 years credit into relevant Bachelor degree programs at these universities. This provides students with two internationally recognised Australian qualifications mostly within the same time it takes to earn one degree, resulting in high graduate employment and at a fraction of the price.

Student Services and Facilities

All six BNIT campuses are easily accessible by public transport (bus or train) and all campuses offer free parking to students. Students can also enjoy an extensive range of educational resources and services at our Learning Hubs (libraries), canteen facilities and free student wi-fi internet on every campus.

Student Services
BNIT provides Counselling, Disability, Indigenous, International, Learning and Student Support staff across all campuses to assist you to successfully complete your course. We can also advise you about many aspects of student life such as:

• finding accommodation and employment;
• developing your resume and preparting you for job interviews;
• dealing with complaints;
• organising activities on campus to help you enjoy your time at BNIT.

English Language Programs

We offer quality extensive English Language programs (ELICOS) from Beginner levels to Advanced. Our highly qualified and friendly English teachers assist students to learn English in a supportive and interactive environment with a focus on ensuring students can use their English in real life situations.
